Milongueando En Buenos Aires 2011
ENGLISH / ESPAÑOL
WALTER GONZALEZ
Walter began dancing in the southern suburbs of Buenos Aires, in traditional clubs such as Valentin Alsina and Avellaneda, until he met Susana Miller in 2000 and soon after joined the group of assistants of La Academia.

His style of dance is characterised by being at once rhythmic and cadencioso. He focuses on demonstrating useful sequences, mastering direction changes, overall skill and improvisation. His breakdown of technique is geared toward practical use of space within the dynamic of the dance floor. He teaches milonga using a method that is coherent and enables the student to use simple milonga and milonga con traspie from their first lesson.

Walter has developed his knowledge as an instructor in La Academia, as well as through giving private lessons, and through group lessons at the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Currently he continues his role with La Academia de Susana Miller y Maria Plazaola.
